Research experience

  • since September 2014 : lecturer at the University of Montpellier, in the research laboratory Géosciences Montpellier (research team Lithosphere Dynamics).
  • 2008-2012 : PhD thesis on analogue and theoretical modelling of lava flows cooling at IPGP in Paris, under the supervision of Edouard Kaminski and Steve Tait.
  • 2006 : 6-months traineeship on Sm/Nd whole rock analysis and U/Pb dating on zircons of the Northern Oman crystalline basement at the Natural History Museum in Stockholm, Sweden under the supervision of Per-Olof Persson and Martin J. Whitehouse.
  • 2005 : 2-month trainesship on Analysis of the primary production variability in northern Atlantic at the LEMAR in Brest under the supervision of Laurent Mémery.

Teaching experience

  • since 2014 : Lecturer in the department of Earth, Water and Environment Sciences at the University of Montpellier ( 200 hours per yea). Teaching in plate tectonics, France geology, natural hazards, planetology, especially for competitive secondary teaching degree (prépa CAPES and prépa agrégation).
  • 2008-2012 : Teaching assistant in the department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Paris-Diderot University (64 hours per year during 3 years, 88 hours per year during 1 year). Teaching in general geology (prépa CAPES), geophysics, field geophysics, computer basics.


  • 2007-2008 : M. Sc. in Geophysics at the IPGP (Paris).
  • 2006-2007 : "Agrégation" in Geology and Biology (competitive teaching degree).
  • 2004-2006 : B. Sc. and first year of M. Sc. in Earth and Planetary Sciences at the [Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon].
