  • Mineral physics and igneous petrology
  • Defects in solids, diffusion and visco-plastic deformation processes.
  • Concentration, distribution and mobility of hydrogen in nominally anhydrous minerals
  • Peridotites (those losing hydrogen...), komatiites and other ultramafics.
  • Experimental apparatus (piston-cylinder, TZM vessel, multi-anvils, Paterson apparatus)
  • EMPA, FTIR, SEM-EBSD and basics for SIMS.
